I seriously have no time to write. I need to be asleep. I've been up since five. We drove for 300 miles and then I stood in the sun and Chicago heat all afternoon.
I saw James Curd, Duffy, The Black Keys, Cat Power, Raconteurs, CSS, Radiohead all today. The alarm is set for 7:00am, six hours away.
I had a really nice evening with Morgan. We went to the Missouri Botanical Garden to see Kim Massie and were invited to sit with Diana and her friends: Don, Caroline, and Peter. We shared some wine, cheese, fruit, and a nice, enamored couple nearby shared their cold tomato and carrot chowder with us.
The Niki sculpture exhibit is running through the summer and of course there are the now permanent Chihuly pieces. I nearly had a lapse in judgment and left the tripod at home. Fortunately for me, the moon was bright, the reflections were brilliant, the shadows were deep, and Morgan was extremely patient.
